Just been watching a TV show about the Summer Exhibition, which I surprisingly hadn't known about before. The world's largest annual open-submission show, where anyone can put in a piece of art, though only a few will make it to the exhibition. It followed a few individuals from creating their work to finding out if they'll be rejected/accepted.
