Hi! Not Back Yet, But... I Can Update Today!

Internet The Internet question is still highly debatable. We thought we would have Internet as of this passed week but Verizon decided to be dickheads about it. We have telephone but still no DSL in sight. It looks like we may get the modem next Monday, but there is still a question about that so who the fuck knows?

how's stcc as a school? drews trying to get me to go there (even threw living with him out as a lure, but that's not what I want to do) but I'd rather go to UMASS, especially since it's right here.

Could you afford UMass? If I'm not mistaken, the government is less apt to help you through a four year college than they are a community college. Not to mention, you couldn't drive every day to STCC with no car...

well thats why drew offered for me to live with him, so i could walk or go with him, but i don't want to do that.
i dunno if i can afford it, thats why i need to talk to financiial aid people..

If you barely make enough money, financial aid will help you out althought they probably won't give you a full amount. They usually don't do that unless you are in dire straights, I.E. have a kid, disabled, etc.

verizon dsl is a fucking nightmare. their customer service is terrible... working at best buy we've had several dealings with them and they've all left a sour taste in my mouth.

e-wire leaves a lot to be desired over here. We should have been connected in a week but it took a month. The modem seems to require reconnection on a regular basis.
But Bigpond wasn't too much better if I recall, and I think we're $15 a month ahead now.

So far, no issues but who knows? I remember the first modem they UPSed to my mother was broken and cracked in places. The second one they sent her just wouldn't work (they called her incompetent and then sent a repair person over who agreed with my mother that the modem was "fucked"). Brendan and I have never had an issue with the Verizon in Easthampton except for, you know, when they claimed he owed them three hundred dollars. Aside from that, no issues...

I'm currently doing something with my ms_morgana journal again, so I'll be glad when you're back on-line.
Everyone else seems to be politely ignoring it - including madcat_morgan.
