oh my. I'm utterly breathless. I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through the day/movie on the 10th.

I like having days off. It's really nice and since I was up early to take mom to the airport, I had the whole day. I did a little shopping, gave the dog a bath, started the laundry and am about to start playing one of my oldie-but-goodie game Pharaoh. I like the city building games.

Speaking of laundry, I need to run and put another load in.

I've never been able to get into the whole "Star Wars Obsession". Maybe it's because I wasn't even born yet when the first (fourth) one came out, and was too little to see the others when they came out. I'm not even sure I've seen any of them all the way through. Got up early this morning to take the dog to get groomed. I figured out why she doesn't like car rides - she gets carsick. Thankfully she waited until we got there to puke. She was fine once we got into the store. A couple of hours later, I get the call that she was done and when we picked her up ( this is what I got: )

If there is one thing that I should know, with skin as fair and white as mine, it's to keep sunblock in all of my cars at all times. For days like today, when I thought I'd be spending at least 50% of my time in the shade, and it turns out that I'm stuck in the sun all day, I'll be prepared.
