Reverse Challenge: Phase 2 Writer Sign-ups!
It's finally time for Phase 2 writer sign-ups! Writers will be assigned an art piece that has been created for the challenge, and have about two months to write a minimum 1,500 word story. There is no participant cap this phase, but sign-ups will end at 11:59pm EST on June 14th. If you participated and completed Phase 1 or/and are participating as an artist for Phase 2, you can still sign up as a Phase 2 writer.

We'll be sending you a confirmation email to be sure we can reach you during the challenge. If you do not receive that email within two days, email us at: hvchallenge(at)gmail(dot)com
On the form there will an option to sign up as a Phase 2 writer, pinch-hitter, or both. A pinch-hitter is a writer who is only contacted with an assignment if the original writer dropped out and is no longer writing a story for the art. You could be contacted at any time during the writing period to fulfill the assignment. Signing up as a pinch-hitter now does not make you obligated to take on the assignment if we contact you with one - it just means we'll be asking you if you're able to do so when we need one. :)
