Hahaha! I know. Someone at work today was saying how they were going to move to Canada so they could get good healthcare now that Obama was going to change things here. I was like ".........they have socialized medicine in Canada, which is exactly what Obama wants for here" (I wanted to add an "asshole" to that, but I did not).

I don't remember who you are, but I wish I had time to discuss with you how not all change is good change, and just because Obama speaks in a manner that you understand doesn't take anything away from him being just another politician, willing to say -and very capable of saying- anything to get elected. He is much like J. F. Kennedy, who said many great things, but in actuality did not help the country very much at all, and in many opinions did a lot to hurt it. All that being said, the President doesn't hold nearly as much power as so many people seem to think, so anyone on the right or left who is freaking out about this needs to read some books on government. OR shut the hell up.

Mario, this Stephanie... Oldano.

Anyways, clearly I was just saying how ridiculous I thought it was that almost every republican I know said they wanted to move away.
I mean really, how ridiculous.

And yes change can be good or bad, but I think most of the time any change is better than no change... especially in the situation the country's in. Also, I understand that the president does not hold all power and can't do anything on his own... which is why I hope that Congress will step up this time.
We'll have to wait and see.
