Recipe #1: Cheesy Chicken Pasta!

Nov 18, 2009 17:22

Hello, guys! In thanks for advice on my hair, I come baring a recipe! It's for something I made, and I liked it a lot!

I'm sorry, as I don't have any pictures. It shouldn't be that hard to follow, though! It's easy, and done very quickly!

You Will Need!
1 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
1/2 a can of pasta sauce (if you don't buy those giant cans, just one will do)
Spaghetti Noodles
Cheese
Spices!
Now, the spice I use is a blend-spice the grocery store likes calling 'Italian Spice'. It's a blend of oregano, marjoram, rosmary, savory, sage, and basil. I don't know the ratios, sorry.
Onion Salt
Pepper
A pinch of chili powder

Onward!
You're going to want to start your noodles first, so boil your water!
While you're waiting, cut your chicken into small cubes.

Regular spaghetti noodles are too long for this, so break your handful of spaghetti in half and toss it into your boiling water! Make sure not to let them stick to the bottom! This is when I start grating my cheese, too. I put in a lot of cheese, but if you don't really like it, you don't have to put in as much as I do!

Now, it's time to cook your chicken! Just throw them into a frying pan, but put butter in the pan first. Please put butter in the pan first dear God you have no idea the mess you'll face if you don't put butter in the pan first.

Once your chicken isn't pink anymore, put your sauce in and stir it up! Then, you're going to want to add your spices. You can add other things than the ones I have listed in the ingrediants, if you think it'd taste good!
Remember, this recipe isn't written in stone! If you want to try it with small chunks of beef, please do! And report back to me your findings, of course. You could probably find a vegetarian alternate, too.

Now, it's noodle time! After straining them, just huck'em in the pan with your chicken chunks and sauce! Stir it around.
Once you think everything's about done, add your cheese, too, and give it all a final stir and take it off the burner!

And now...

Eat it!

I hope if anyone tries this, they like it!
