When you have the list of wireless networks up, there's an option on the left that says "change the order of preferred networks". Click that and make sure yours is on the top of the list.

Ooh, I missed the part that yours isnt showing up at all. Try restarting your router a few times and restart your computer to fix that part.

Once your computer is showing your network and connected to it you should be able to bring up the list and set your network as the default or favorite one that it connects to. I had to do this with mine and it took me a while to figure out too :)
