Depends on what your rental agreement states. The places that I have rented from that had the same kind of rule would usually evict you for not complying with your rental agreement. In OKC, usually your "better" more upscale apartment complexes have some kind of rule about that. The ghetto apartments don't care tho, and you'll often see bed sheets hung as curtains (I've even seen people use fitted sheets lol) and people covering their windows with aluminum foil
