I'm really impressed with this as a first posted story. Really well done. I noticed a couple of minor issues with word choice - "You're hairy armpits" should be "Your hairy armpits." "there dad was on a hunt" should be "their dad was on a hunt."

I didn't think anyone was OOC. I think there's really good evidence for John being harsh in canon. Although I think it's largely a result of him wanting the boys to be prepared for what's out there, and therefore a product of his love for the boys, I think his gruffness in "Something Wicked This Way Comes" and his not being arsed to make it home for Christmas in "A Very Supernatural Christmas" are ample proofs of that.

The only thing that I think might be OOC for the boys is Dean still being a virgin at 18.

Yes, that's along the lines of what I was thinking about John as well. I'm glad you think so, because I was worried people would think I made him too harsh.

LOL, I'd have to agree that I don't really think Dean would still be a virgin at 18. But, for that scene, I wanted Dean to have just lost his virginity, therefore intensifying the thoughts he had been having. But I also didn't want Sam to be too young, so I thought 14 and 18 were appropriate enough ages. Making them any older would have made it even more unbelievable for Dean to still be a virgin, but making them any younger didn't seem right to me because then Dean would have been thinking about Sam sexually when he'd be only like, 12.

Your first fanfic, made me laugh and go awwww... That's a great start, but may I suggest that you use normal formatting and not the indented stuff. It does make it hard to read on the internet.
