Okay, so two points which are really the same point:
1. This is the gayest movie about a girl pretending to be straight that I've ever seen. I mean, Beca-who-pretends-to-have-a-boyfriend is making references about questioning her sexuality while Chloe-of-ambiguous-sexual-preference is telling Beca while an inch away from her face that she wished she'd experimented more in college? The only movies I've ever seen that are more overtly lesbian have ACTUAL lesbians in them.

2. If they don't make a PP3 wherein Beca realizes that she and Chloe have been in girl-love since her freshman year and runs off to have lots and lots of sex with her, the world will be a sadder place. They won't, of course, and I am as resigned to this as I am to the sad fact that Sharon Raydor on Major Crimes seems to be straight, but that's a whole other thing.

It's not a great movie, but it's cute enough if you enjoyed the first one. I wasn't especially expecting high art, so I enjoyed it. Good music, as always, although it left me with the lingering realization that I don't have much pop music in my playlists as a rule. Don't know what that means, but whatever...
