Monthly Life Update
I wish everyone in my life would quit mentioning marriage to me. Not just marriage, but the fact that Rogers and I should be/will be getting married soon. Update on all the cool stuff I've been up to...
So Europe was completely amazing. We did pretty much everything we wanted to do and everything worked out perfectly. The dollar is a bitch and I wish I got paid in euros, but it was okay. So I'm headed to Europe tomorrow. Hitting up Dublin, Galway, and Brussels in a week and a half. I'm really really excited to spend 12 whole days with Rogers and explore two countries I've never been to before! My new place!
I got an apartment, you guys! (As if anyone reads el jay anymore.) But I'm psyched! It's a cute little townhouse exactly 5 minutes from my school. It's got 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. I really enjoy Emily Horne's semi-annual book list so I thought I'd make my own. I haven't read nearly as many as her (I have to read textbooks and travel books for my Euro trip nowadays), but these are all the books I've read since the beginning of the year. Today was Rogers and my two year anniversary. It was exactly two years ago today that we went out into the town of Oxford looking for laundry detergent and ended up walking around, getting lost, and holding hands for about two hours. What is life.
My computer crashed the other day. It just wouldn't start up. It had all of my work for my final project that is due tomorrow. Yeah. I contemplated just not worrying about it and getting a C in my class, but instead I paid $125 for emergency data retrieval at Mac Heaven. I have to go pick it up later today and hopefully it worked.
