I don't really know what to say to you other than what I've already said in my previous comments.
This does sound a lot like how Jesse and I used to be.
It only took a year for him to realize how much I meant to him, and to swear off drugs and drinking forever.
Sometimes he still breaks promises, but not as much as he used too.

You only really have 2 3 options;
1) Hope that he'll change
2) Accept that he's never going to change
3) Leave him

Also, think of the reasons why you're with him.
Is it honestly because you love him or is it because you don't want to be a single mother? Just take a bit of time and think to yourself.
