The Sprint "Customer Disservice" Saga

We used to have our cellphones with Sprint. When TQO went to IBM, we found that IBM has an agreement with Verizon and our total bill would be much better if we went to Verizon. So he moved over first and found that reception was much better, but that could just be that newer phones have better antenas. Then when my contract was done with Sprint ( Read more... )

You also want to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau. That gets their attention real quick. Trust me.

Wow. How many ways did Sprint screw this up?

They can't produce a signed document or other evidence that what they delivered is what was ordered. They went and dipped into a bank account that they were instructed not to touch.

Ah, yes, this reminds me of our brief and unhappy association with Sprint after Katrina, when mobile was the only possibility for both voice and data communication in NOLA. It almost makes me glad that I now live in a primitive country where the wireless providers are much cruder in the ways they rip you off.
