You took individual photos and by some technical wizardry combined them. Is the bird a pheasant? *gets bird book out* It's not exactly like any I can see in there, but close to one.
It's a pheasant, yup (male - its mate is just out of shot, her belly feathers are looking matted because she's been sitting on her young for a couple of weeks).
No technical wizardry, no compositing - what you see is the way it was.
Well, they're all looking at the mobile home and caterpillar digger that've moved in next door (bunny in particular must be wondering what to do, several tons of machine rumbled over its burrow earlier).
Cool! We have had up to 8 Pheasants in our garden, loads n loads of birdies (as we feed em) but the rabbits that I can see over the other side of the field aint made it yet. Dont think we have any squirrels, probably too cold even for them!
Tho I cant see any of these outside my window, I can see a standby boat and lots of Med. tho :-)
