Nah....won't be on a supermarket shelf near you for another 50 weeks or so ('lamb' is defined as being less than a year old, so there's scope for a far bit of fattening up yet).
Indeed...as I keep saying to pipistrelle, I must grow out of the habit of rolling home drunk, waving my kebab at the lambs, and telling them it's their momma wrapped up inside the pitta bread.
That's the piccie I have been waiting for..did you deliver the lambie yourself by any chance ? could put some other stuff in but have to go to work tonight and running late..*grin*
Asher & I are bikers with horses and will get sheep when we get our next house with land attached! We want to find the strange ones with tall pointy ears like rabbit's ears. I have only ever seen them once or twice and can't rememebr the breed. We'll be looking into that when we get our own land in stead of renting.
I'm a farm girl... Can Ihave a sheep or two for the field??? Can i???!!!
Bikers, yup, the lambs aren't ours though (just happen to live in the country next to a field, so I tend to help out with the flock, esp. during lambing season).
Sheep aren't easy animals to keep - and judging by what I see here, there are loads of regulations to comply with (may not apply to pets, of course), plus they have a habit of getting into trouble (mainly through their stupidity). Goats might be a better bet, you know...
