“You can’t get away…” A whisper out of nowhere rebelled against the sound of the moving police sirens on the streets of Akihabara. Three knocks from the nearest wooden door just creped out alongside her thumping head and fast rate heartbeat. Before she knows it, a series of heavy footsteps came running after her.
She forced herself to carry her own body weight to get away. The superficial sound of these footsteps became louder and louder also made the breezy autumn breeze cut through the surface of her skin. After a while, she knows… she was running for her life.
“Please… please… Leave me alone” Hakufu cried whilst running, not even knowing where she’s headed. She can hear her own heartbeat thumping like a drum ready to burst outside her chest. Her head started whizzing like there’s an electric current running through it and just gave a signal to her hypothalamus to even run faster against the nearing footsteps behind her.
By this, she closed her eyes slowly and just wished that this nightmare will end.

*THUD*
Almost immediately, she felt a sudden pain on her back which made her open her eyes.
“Ahh~ Sorry…” an unfamiliar man just stood before her with his shadow defending the rays coming from the street lights. This made his figure darkened and Hakufu can’t even see his clear complexion.
By this, she immediately stood up with her head telling her to continue running. Hakufu pulled a horrified face before Keito and looked behind her to see if those people running after her are still in their midst.
She didn’t dare to talk to Keito because as far as she knows, her life is in danger… this person might be after her as well.
“Anou, are you okay?” another voice was heard before Hakufu can actually run again. The heavy footsteps running behind her suddenly disappeared as soon as the two boys acted calmly in her presence.
Seeing the girl frightened, Ryutaro attempted to touch her and give his comfort and sympathy. However, Hakufu is still mortified about her thoughts that she still can’t trust anyone… not anyone… even this boy who seems so fragile offering her security. Her actions reflected what she was thinking. She immediately dodged Ryutaro’s hand, still in a worried face.
“Don’t worry… we’re here to help…” Ryutaro said and elbowed the mysterious man next to him... “Ne, Keito…”

“Help? Are you actually thinking on helping her?” Keito pulled Ryutaro away from the girl and whispered closely to his ear.
“Yeah~ she looks like she’s running for her life…” Ryutaro whispered back, his eyes still locked at the girl’s direction.
Looking at the two boys in front of her, Hakufu remained quiet and still in where she was standing. She still doesn’t know if she can actually trust these men but as soon as she looked at the deep yet subtle eyes of Keito, she immediately felt warmness through her body.
Within a flash, she felt her brain thumping abnormally which made her shout in agony. In seconds, she was unconscious.
The two boys on the other hand, stopped their arguments and immediately run towards the mysterious girl who they know is in real pain.
“What do we do?” Ryutaro said in panic… he then waited for his companion’s reply while gently holding Hakufu’s arm.
“Let’s take her somewhere safe first…” Keito replied in command then carried the girl with Ryutaro’s help. However, a sudden sound made Keito stand still on where he was standing. A whispering voice just lingered through his ear drum which left him paralysed and even scared. By this, he suddenly felt the hairs behind his neck stand through the strong painful breeze that was hitting them.

“What’s wrong?” Ryutaro asked after seeing his fear stricken friend.
“Can you hear that?” Keito replied.
“Hear what?”
“That voice…” Keito still standing still looked at the girl he was carrying. He felt his own eye-brows crossing each other as he indeed know that this girl brings trouble.
“You’re just thinking things! Let’s hurry already… our situation is not getting any better” Ryutaro immediately awoken Keito’s thoughts and led the way towards their apartment.

Hakufu slowly opened her eyes and saw blurry figures before her. She tirelessly rubbed the surface of her eyelids; hoping to see a better picture. To her surprise, she saw two familiar boys sitting comfortably in the nearest couch, as if waiting for her next actions.
“Ahh~ you’re awake now Haku-chan…” Ryutaro jumped enthusiastically on where he’s sitting.
Keito on the other hand just sat still giving a dark impression that he is indeed against the idea of “saving” the mysterious girl.
“Who - who are you?” she struggled to say while touching the corner of her forehead… “You - know me?”
“Hai~ I saw your I.D. when I was picking your bag up… You just fell unconscious last night”
“Since you’re awake now, you can go.” Keito immediately said “I know you were chased by some people last night… We don’t want to get involved” he said coldly.
By this remark, Hakufu looked down and slowly lifted herself from where she was sitting. Ryutaro just can’t believe that Keito, who he knows is gentle and sweet, is actually acting cold to this particular girl.
“Th - Thank you for saving me…” Hakufu whispered to the two boys while picking up her things. Keito just looked at her in felt a sudden painful current on his brain which he ignored.

"Take care of yourself Haku-chan..." Ryutaro whispered and gave off a concerned face.
