Movie
Narrator: Hi, my name is Charolette Marshwood. This movie is about when I found my first love, and how it ended up. It all started to summer I turned fifteen. The story begins on the last day of school at lunch. I was sitting with my best friend Evan.
Evan: Carley, I think the new kid likes you.
Carley: Who doesn’t? Anyway, tucker said he would take me to a movie. So please come with us.
Evan: You guys always make out.
Carley: Well bring a date. Come on it will be fun.
Evan: Fine I will bring Lucas.
Alexis Hollington, Belle LaFluer, and Sammy Sims walked to the table.
Alexis: Who is Lucas?
Evan: The new guy.
Jenna: I heard he is going out with Kirsten.
Sammy: Well I heard he was going out with Callie Hall.
Alexis: Why do you want him anyway? He is so Jesse McCartney wannabe.
Evan: Exactly.
Carley: So you will go to the movies?
Evan: Of course.
Carley: Gets up. Bye guys, see you tomorrow. We are going to the mall right?
Alexis: Duh! Totally.
Belle: Cant I have to hang with family, sorry.
Sammy: My sister is coming back from France.
Evan: Don’t worry I can. Bye Car!
Carley: Walks back to class and saw tucker in the hall. Hey tucker.
Tucker: Hey, oh carley this is Lucas Maven. I am showing him around the school.
Lucas: Shakes carley’s hand. Nice to meet you.
Evan: Walks up to Lucas. Hey Lucas, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies later.
Lucas: Sure. I will pick you up at seven.
Evan: That’s great. See yeah. Walks to her class.
Carley: Tucker I have to go to class. Bye. Gives tucker a kiss on the cheek.
At Home
Mom: Charolette I have to talk to you NOW!
Carley: Walks down the hall to her mother. yes.
Mom: Are you and tucker going on a date tonight?
Carley: Yeah why! Did he call?
Mom: No Charolette. Harris told me. Right when I got home.
Harris: Walks into the room. Hey Mum, are you yelling at carley?
Mom: Harris yes I am! Raises her voice then stops. Wait Harris you are going on the date with your sister and Tucker.
Carley: But Mum, Evan is coming.
Mom: Well Evan can go with Harris. They would make a good couple together. Now since this is settled. I am going to order a pizza. Turns toward the kitchen. I am going to order the pizza!
Carley: Great! Says it sarcastically.
Door bell rings.
Harris: I will get it! Runs to the door.
Evan: Walks in the house. Hey Harry, can I talk to carley?
Carley: Walks to the front door. Hey you are early. They are coming at seven.
Evan: Yeah I just wanted to you help me with my outfit. Anyway is Lucas coming with Tucker or without him?
Harris: Who’s Lucas?
Carley: The new kid from school. The one that Callie and Kirsten was talking to today. Gives Harris a funny look.
Mom: Looks at Evan. He isn’t your date Evan, is he?
Evan: Yeah, he is really nice. He’s from New York.
Carley: Come on Eva, lets go get ready.
Carley and Evan run up the stairs to Carley’s room. Harris runs up the stairs with them, but into his room. Carley and Evan are getting ready for the date.
Evan: Do you think Lucas will like me?
Carley: Looks at Evan then sits next to her on the bed. Why wouldn’t he like you?
Evan: Remember George Hole?
Carley: Yeah.
Evan: He didn’t want to go out with me last year, because there were rumors that I had sex with John Davidson.
Carley: And George believed it?
Evan: Everyone did. I was so embarrassed that I wanted to move in with my Mom in California. But everyone forgot about the rumor after a while.
Carley: I don’t really remember that rumor. That was probably the time when I was trying to get together with Tucker.
Evan: Probably, can I use your lip gloss? Walks over to her makeup stand and picks up pink lip gloss.
Carley: Yeah sure. Should I wear the pink or the green? Shows Evan the shirts.
Evan: Green. Applies the lip gloss.
Carley and Evan hear the door creek open. They walk slowly to the door and open it really fast. It was Harris. Harris started running down the stairs and Carley & Evan ran after him. He ran into the kitchen where his mother was. He ran into the living room and Carley stopped him.
Carley: What did you hear? Gave him an angry look then started laughing.
Harris: Nothing. Penny jumps on him. Oh Penny, you are a pretty girl, yes you are. Gives Penny kisses.
Door Bell rings.
Harris: I will get it!
Harris runs to the door and opens it. Tucker and Lucas walk in. Carley and Evan walk into the kitchen and wait until Mom interrogates the boys. When Mom was done Tucker walked into the kitchen and took Carley’s hand and kissed it.
Carley: Um…Tuck, Harris has to go on the date with us-
Tucker: That isn’t that bad- I mean I could call my cousin Dais-
Carley: As Evan’s date.
Tucker: What are we going to do about Harris?
Carley: I have to bring my brother. You know how my mother is. We would have to have the date here. Do you have any clue how sucky that would be?
Lucas walks into the room. With Mom behind him checking him out.
Mom: He is good girls you can go. Gives Evan the thumbs up.
Downtown
Mom leaves the room, upstairs and out of sigh. Carley, Tucker, Lucas, and Evan walk into the living room. THey are sitting down and watiching for the pizza to come.
Lucas: Looks at Evan. He gives her a simle. So what are you doing during the summer?
Evan: My Dad is going away for the summer. So I am going to be at my Dad’s house for a week then I have to go to my Mom’s in Berwick, Maine. Looks around for Harris. Do you know what movie we are going to see?
Lucas: I think Wedding Date. It seems like a chick flick. My best friend said it was good. He saw it with his girlfriend.
Evan: Oh, well I have to go to the bathroom. I will be right back. Evan gets up and walks over to Carley. She whispers to her. Car, b-room now!
Evan and Carley go to the bathroom together.
Evan: Lucas is really annoying. I cant stand being with him for another minute.
Carley: Give him another chance. When we get back we can get together. It is really hard to make out with Tucker when Harris is with us.
Evan: Good thing we are going to a movie.
Evan and Carley walk back into the living room .While Evan and Carley were gone the pizza was delivered. Evan sits next to Lucas with her feet on his lap. Carley sits next to Tucker and Harris. They are all consitrated on there food.
Carley: Looks at Lucas with a big smile on her face. So Lucas why did you move to Hampton, NH? Isnt an odd place to move to from New York?
Lucas: Looks at the ground while talking to Carley. Well my Mom got married and my new step-dad lives in Hampton. So I am living with her. I was living with my Dad in New York but he left for Chile.
Evan: Is Chile cold or something?
Tucker, Carley, and Lucas start laughing. Evan still has no clue why, but laughs along with them.
Evan: Still laughing. No, really is it?
Lucas: No. My Dad is a inturpriture, he speaks a lot of languages. When I was three he taught me how to speak French. By the time I was nine I could speak French, Spanish, Greek, and German fluently.
Tucker: Dude that’s awesome.
Carley: Can you say something for us? Gives him a half smile. Looks over at Evan, she looks really bored of this conversation.
Lucas: I will do French. Je m’appelle Luke. Je suis American. Je suis de New York.
Evan: Looked really confused. What the heck did you just say?
Lucas: My name is Luke, I am American, I am from New York.
Harris: That is wicked sweet man. Looks at his watch. What time does the movie start?
Carley: Oh, yeah well I was thinking that we could watch a movie here.
