I was just on the phone with my mom when she told me that my dad was on his way to train on base when he saw a jet from a Canadian forces air show team The Snowbirds crash into the ground. The pilot of course was killed on impact

That is really a shame. And for all the kids watching, it must have been horrible. How do you explain that to a child? Life is just so....unpredictable. :(

I know, I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking about how lucky me and my family is to not have ever had to deal with anything like that where someone close to us lost their life in the blink of an eye and so tragically. Then I started thinking about what the doctor told us the other day about how close Karl was to serious danger with his high glucose levels and whatnot...I'm just so thankful I made that appt for him!!!
