On Wednesday last week, we set off on a rare midweek expedition into London.

After much persistence on the hated telephone one morning a month before, I had managed to buy 4 tickets to participate in a recording of the long running (40 years!) radio show Just a Minute - tickets that sell like hot cakes as soon as they are released. Sometimes not

They record the half hour shows pretty much straight - without much scope for editing or retakes

That's cool - sometimes you wonder if they record hours of stuff to manage to get 1/2 hr of genuine funniness. Mind you I think they do for some shows.

It was brilliant!

I haven't laughed that much in ages.

It's also great fun going somewhere in an unhurried way at rush hour in London, and observing the freneticness of it all.

sounds like a fun evening! I often listen to the Show so shall listen out for the sounds of Prentish laughter over the next few weeks!!!

The one Radio Show I'd love to get tickets for would be Sorry I Haven't a Clue, though I reckon I'd have to be carried out because of laughing so much! The Christmas Show this year was wonderful!!!!!
