That list isn't too bad as I don't really get on all that well with Dahl's Chickens and The Bronte's, and I don't really see the point of reading plays, they're much better being acted.

It is a bit of a weird list - several of the items are series rather than single books, and a couple come up separately as well as in their series.

Wonder what the premise of the list was originally.
