On Vox: Deep Breath

An awful lot has happened in the last fortnight, and my life has changed beyond recognition.

I am writing this sat in the window seat of the historic house that is our temporary home, overlooking an estuary and the mountains opposite - including a view of the ancient chapel that was the venue of our hosts' wedding last Saturday.

A whole new start!

We are selling without chain, as we have a place to stay, but I can start looking at what is around and dreaming :-)

Indeed, we are fairly shell shocked!

Not the asking price - but about what I thought the house was worth!

The very first viewers, who we have nabbed from the other property in the road, and who made the first, cheeky, offer.

The sitters seem to be fairly cool about it and are busy making plans for where to live instead.
