did you hear about the nba dress code? anonymous October 31 2005, 21:02:59 UTC
i did now.

it's been freezing a 7734 here, and yet halloween weekend was short-skirt-w/-yerstuffhanginoutsville. plus we had either a girls gone wild film crew at the corner i have to walk by on my way to the office, or just some frat boys posing as one....

and yet, as i contemplate the very real possibility of a future in Moscow, Idaho, it seems pretty alright.

girls gone wild will eventually make it to idaho...
they did madison on halloween while i was there.
the girls flashing the crowds were blamed for a riot.

but what is in moscow idaho?

the university of idaho.

though, now that i have had a discussion with an older mathematician friend about how i will look to a hiring committee ("four years since his PhD and only one publication?") my thinking is more like "Moscow, Idaho? You wish!"

Well, we had some children come in in their official halloween costumes, which as I said where very gender conformed. which made me feel guilty to have dressed as cenderella and as much fun as i have for finding a reason to wear my clip on weave, i definitly won't do that again. but many of the kids did not wear their costumes so when they saw the kids who had we had to break out the closet full of old clothes. Mostly we seem to have "female" costume- dresses, etc that the little girls decided could make them princesses too. then we had one spiderman shirt with black webbing between the arms and the sides. When this one little boy, lets call him S saw everyone gtting dressd up he immediatly started searching for someone to marry, and then something to wear. he tried on the spiderman shirt first, and a little girl B tryed on a sequined pink skirt. Well the elastic was lostening and she had it on alittle wrong so she walked around in it for a minutes legs as far apart as they could get so it wouldn't fall down and then decided ( ... )
