I've been combing through my old entries trying to clean up my tags and I came across my fanfic_100 table. I decided to try to fill in a few more spots.
Here's a drabble for the prompt
Sunrise
The offshore wind was soft but steady. The tide was nearing its peak and would be turning within the hour. All hands had reported back from their night ashore. The Pearl was ready and anxious to be off.
Gibbs looked once more around the deck and found that he had nothing to do but watch the sunrise and wait for the sea. He settled his hip against the taffrail, shut his eyes and turned his face to the growing warmth on the horizon.
In three days he would be in Estrella’s warm arms. With his eyes still closed, he smiled.
