Not at this very moment, no. Nel and I are taking a break.

Shouldn't you be spending that time with Nel then?

That's a great idea, actually. After what they're facing...

they deserve a welcome back. [it was better than what a lot of the soldiers in her time had to deal with]

Mm, I think so too. After all, even if they didn't choose to do it they're still fighting for us.

If we want bigger banners for things like the school or the welcome center...I'd be happy to help.

Well I meant more that a little bit of everyone could do their part. A full village set-up might be a bit much, right?

Whaddya mean?

I mean some people had had a lot of bad things happen to them, so they might not be in any mood to have a party.

*Meiling obviously isn't herself either. She walks into the living room but doesn't say a word about the balloons. Normally she'd try to help but today is different. She's obviously not in the mood. Instead of her normal smile she wears a subtly angry expression instead.*

[Oh, Charlotte expects no help. And no one to get it. She flashes Meiling a sad little smile once she finishes her most recent (red) one, panting a little. Who knew blowing things up too so much work? She should have looked for a helium tank or something...]

*She looks in the fridge for something to eat but only ends up slamming the door angrily. The fridge is lucky it didn't break.

Meiling, needing a stress outlit, Sits down next to Charlotte and beings blowing up balloons. In anger.*

[Yeah the anger is pretty palpable in here. Charlotte, not sure quite how to word what she wants to say yet, just takes this time to catch her breath, sitting silently next to Meiling. Give her a spell, she'll come up with something.
