I like Edward Marston books, I've read all the railway detective ones which are generally good, the Christopher Redmayne ones are good as well and he did a lightish sort of series of books under another name Conrad Somebody or other which are about two detectives on board different ships in 1910 onwards Murder on the (boat name). theres Murder on the Lusitana and various others- they are quite cheap on kindle from amazon.

Oh those are him? Cool. I have them, but I haven't got round to them yet. I have read the first three railway ones too, and some of the Redmayne ones.
