Just two this month, as I have been doing a lot of knitting and sewing.
41: Dumb Witness Agatha Christie
A bit of a light read, inbetween book club choices . I do like a good Poirot novel. Particularly when he is meddling, and dealing with little old ladies being imprecise. Great characters as usual.
42: South Riding Winifred Holtby
This is my choice for our October meeting. I have already had a few comments in passing that people have liked it, so that is a relief. I really enjoyed it. I particularly like the setting, as it is local to where I grew up (I recognise things here and there), and the people are very well written - they seemed real and you cared about what happened to them.
