another intercepted valentine!
Last Friday was the most hellacious day I've had all year. But I got something in the mail that made me smile all day anyway - a Valentine from Eastwick's Daryl van Horne to Roxie Torcoletti!
The front of card: A red glittery background with a fortune cookie. The fortune reads, "You will have much success and happiness."
Inside of card: "In bed." And there's a happy face, on which Daryl has drawn horns and a tail, and then it says "Happy Valentine's Day!"
And then Daryl has included a note:
Roxie, my dear,
Before you say anything - yes, I know. A commercial card is so...mundane. But this one has a certain appeal, don't you think? And please tell me you wouldn't have preferred some card that played 'I've got a crush on you' (too soon?) or the remotely more clever 'Bend Me, Shape Me'.
I think the direct approach suits us much better, don't you? And I can assure you this fortune can come true - no strings attached. Ropes, perhaps, if you'd like, but no strings.

Daryl is so delicious and tempting and flirtatious and confident and nnngh, and this is so perfectly him.
