Good luck. I bet you'll do far better than you expect.

If I'm wrong, can I have the kitten when you're gone? *ducks and runs*

Heehee. You made me giggle before my exam, and for that, I award you a shiny Internets. :)

I was able to start and finish on time and give a reasonable accounting of myself, but I just don't know if it's good enough. I didn't use many of the critics or the texts themselves (no access to books or copies of works), and I just don't know what the bar is really set at for Ph.D. exams.

...I'm still keeping my kitten. Hee.

(Okay, technically, she's not a kitten anymore, but she still answers to Kitten and she's got four months to go before she's two; her body is short but fat cat-sized, but she still has a little kitten head.)

Thank you, Bev. *hugs back tight as tight*

I got your card late Thursday night, but I was so distracted I didn't have time to form a coherent reply; having said that, it made me feel so much better about the test and really helped me just calm down and chill out and focus on the task at hand. And it was cute, too, with the little martini glass. ;)

When I read Jason's post, I was so happy that you guys went too! I'm excited about it...I haven't been to the Fox in years, and I'm really looking forward to some inappropriate puppets. --And now I'll have someone I can talk about it with. :D
