I read three hundred science fiction books, about zero of which are on this list. here are the ones from the list i have read.

The Silmarillion (god i hate tolkein)
The Odyssey
Brave New World
A Clockwork Orange
The Grapes of Wrath (god, i love steinbeck)
Treasure Island

Plus, i saw a few movies based on some of the book. For example,
Sense and Sensibility
Angela's Ahses.
