due to my husband's screw-up (for which i've still not forgiven him), we missed seeing eddie when he was in houston last month. i'm so so jealous of you.

OK, so, how is Stripped? I saw Circle at home a while back, and I was, bluntly, disappointed. Like, disappointed to the level that I said (out loud in the middle of the crowded lobby of the theatre after the show) that I thought the material was fresher in French, as the dvd feature on Dress To Kill. I nearly got lynched, but, that's how let down I was. Please tell me Stripped isn't a rehash, that Izzard has not jumped the shark?

For my part, I'm much more keen on Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran and have been for some time now.

Kind of uneven, but I love that man. Lots of technology things, lengthy lambasting of christianity, excellent physical comedy, and he was "off-duty"--i.e. in more mannish clothing. It'll be interesting to see what gets onto a CD or DVD. The printed program was fun--lots of him posing and flashing skin--but then again, I know I'm biased. He just does it for me in all ways. *sighs*

I did enjoy it quite a lot; my sister was a little uncomfortable in places, as he does go at it with Christianity, but I can't say that bothered me in the slightest.
