Firstly: People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blog and replace any question that they dislike with a new, original question.

Secondly: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you. See above list!

2. Sony CyberShot DSC-9 8.1 mpxl with 15x optical zoom
3. crappy alltel-branded LG phone
4. reference shelf of 1 academic bookshelf (MLA, APA, Lit terms, dictionary, etc.)
5. Heavily tarnished and scratched-glass silverbacked handmirror I've had since I was a child.

02. Would you ever get plastic surgery?
If I lose a lot of weight, since things would hang weird, I might.

03. Is there anything in your fridge right now that you would never eat/drink?
James's leftovers from New Orleans. On Sunday. the 5th.

04. What's your occupation?
Student worker/ILL drone at Ga. State library.

05. Do you nap a lot?
only between the hours of 4am and 10am, give or take one or four.

06. What was your first celebrity crush?
I have absolutely no idea. I tend to look around myself for such things--streak of the realist.

07. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Discworld, Tamora Pierce, jewelry-making, and photography.

08. What are you listening to right now?
The air conditioning. I needed an auditory break.

09. What was the last text message you received?
If you count IMs, since I don't have texting--James sending me a link to the third Charlie the Unicorn video.

10. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Yahoo, LJ, CNN, Google, Facebook, YA Lit forums

11. What was the last thing you bought?
"The Court of the Air" by Stephen Hunt -- steampunky and Dickensian with a more modern edge of cynicism, with a two-prong narrative shrouded in various mysteries; really enjoying it so far.

12. Where would you visit if money was no object?
Prolonged tour of the British Isles and an extended stay in the European capitals.

13. New Question: What holiday is the hardest?
Father's Day. My father died about a week afterward in 2001 on June 23rd. I don't know if I'll ever be able to not want to burn down the world around that time.

14. What is your zodiac sign?
Gemini (sun sign). Most of it's right, except I feel emotions a bit more deeply (Cancer moon sign) and am far more loyal than your average Gemini (Leo rising sign).

15. New Question: Who is your favorite person (or persons) born on your birthday?
1810 - Robert Schumann, German composer (d. 1856); 1867 - Frank Lloyd Wright, American architect (d. 1959); 1951 - Bonnie Tyler, Welsh singer and guitarist

16. Weird dream:
I was running down an inverted cone spiral structure in the middle of a giant museum while someone with a motorcycle was chasing me and people were falling from it right and left and center as they drove faster and faster until I jumped out myself and landed in a giant cushioned display around a sculpture and forced my way through the crowds because I was in a desperate race to not be caught and to get to the little girl I had to save before the others could (because there were more waiting for me outside) and I had to swing up onto giant monkey bar-like structures to try and escape on higher levels but they kept gaining and I finally got to the abandoned apartment building where the little girl was hidden and all that was left was a small pile of clothing, blood, a stuffed bunny rabbit, and a note that said "Just missed us." Then I woke up.

17. Do you have any siblings?
One sister.

18. What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
"Of course you know, THIS means WAR."

19. What are your plans for next weekend?
Either hit up an 80s new wave night my friend is spinning at in Augusta, or do absolutely nothing except clean a little.

20. Say something to the person who tagged you:
countessmary: Sorry I took so long to do this. For the record, I'm a fan for life.

That's about it.
