Without doubt this is an excellent anime. Interesting characters that are not stock "good" or "bad" but real people(with the only bad guy seen until now being essentially deranged and in a way understandably so). A intriguing story(makes me sad the novels are not translated in English)and lavish animation that holds steady in every episode. Really a great work of animation art. Two thumbs up.

The prince is one of the cutest characters I've met in anime and when I say "cute" I don't mean it in a high pitched, girly or over the top way.

He's a very solid character and I can vividly see the young boy who is bravely trying to live up to the expectations of a prince. He's strong, but still has the believable limitations of a child.

You won't see his suddenly becoming a young genius warrior, he's just a determined who loves his father despite knowing his father is out to kill him.

Yep, I agree. His character development and everybody else's is done really well and the writing is very good.

I think it's a very nice anime.... very nice graphic~ Balsa is beautiful..Chagum's eyes are adorable. This story is quite meaningful and I would definitely recommend it!!@@@@

I just finished this anime, and must say that you rarely get an anime that goes by with this much quality, the animation is stunning, the characters seem to come to life as you follow their story, they dont have superpowers they are down to earth humans, extremely well written and make you sad that after episode 26 you wont get to join Balsa, Chagum, Tanda, Touya and Saya in more adventures in their beautiful world. this anime is one of a kind, a must see for any anime fan!
