mix up an ointment od sea-salt and watm water and soak your ears in it for like 10 minutes several times a day. the deposits will break up.

i would rather be back in scotland, on my island, watching sheep.

i agree with rachel. but it has to be NON-IODINE sea salt. what kind of earings do you have? are they stainless steel or silver?
but the seasalt totally helps. alot.

i'd rather be in puerto rico in a huge bedroom with nice big cool marble tiles with gauzy curtians blowing in the breeze and be on a huge bed in viejo san juan eating fried plantains.

*le sigh*

The earrings are actually made of coconut wood (not from the shell of the fruit, but from the bark of the tree.) I bought them near a volcano during a ride on horseback through this ravine from some indigenous vendors. So - maybe they're enchanted and I'll turn into a papaya soon? Maybe?

I'll try the salt method.

Do you ever have days when you "make" yourself a little sick, just enough to go home and not do anything all day?

Yes. Or weeks when you don't tell your paying job that your not paying job gave you a week off and you could actually work full time?

I would be in a loft. In a large city near the water. The loft would have giant windows without screens, and I would be surrounded by pieces of wood and all kinds of thread and wax and wire and nails. I would also have no commitments and the money to get by on for the next couple months. And a pug.
