Out of Focus...

So the Focus died the other day. Threw a rod. :(

I don't know what went wrong...it only had 252,000 miles on it.

I'm actually looking at a 2010 Focus. We'll see.

Bugger.

Why not just install a crate engine if the rest of the car is in good shape? Be ton cheaper on everything, including insurance.

Something to ponder anyways.

That was my first thought.. But then the tranny would still have all those miles, and I have been having other problems with it lately. Plus, the motors I could find in my area are expensive.

Ok if the trans is having issues then perhaps yes a replacement car may be worth it.

All Ford parts are 30% more than Chevy, just sayin... :P
