Hello, everyone

How is everyone? It has been super quiet around here on LJ. I hope you are all doing well. I never make birthday posts and instead just hijack others posts and put well wishes in the comments. I do it that way because:

1)I’m lazy
2)I’m terrible with technology, but I do have leaving comments figured out.
3)I’m not very good at keeping track of ( Read more... )

Thank you so much, it was indeed my birthday yesterday but I didn't celebrate it yet. But I felt very festive in doing nothing, just receiving well wishes and taking that reading time and nap time that you hadn't (you must be clairvoyant to wish me this!), so that was fine. Just like mywitchI reached the respectable age of 59 (at least I think we are of exactly the same age), but since I am Asian and seem to have good genes, everyone still thinks I am in my 40ties.

I have a post covid fatigue since boxing day, which is one day worse than the other and Friday and Saturday were definitely not my best days of this week. But this afternoon I had a friend over for a visit and that was nice.

And you are right, it is super quiet over here, I was already wondering if everyone here at the Northern hemisphere is hibernating?
Hope you will continue to find times commenting and for lots of naps and reading.

Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! I work in healthcare and made it through several years of pandemic with no problem, then finally succumbed to Covid on Christmas. It was lousy because I spent it alone in my bedroom (for fear of getting my family sick) but it also was much more relaxing than having to drive several hours and hit multiple family gatherings. I fortunately only felt poorly for about 48 hours, so I know I am much luckier than many.

I AM in my 40’s, and you probably still look younger than me, lol.

I think you are right, we are all hibernating. I am sick of winter. I could go my whole life without ever seeing snow again, and I would not be upset.

I'm glad to hear you only had a very quick kind of covid. But yay for the upside of relaxing instead of (mandatory?) family gatherings. Mine was not severe either, and it came 10 days after I was boostered :( but before I already had had a flu and a severe cold, so I was just not yet recuperated from that, I think.

Do you think so? Please don't sell yourself short!

I can so imagine you are sick and tired of winter and especially snow! I like snow for 1 or 2 days but more than that disrups everything since we are not really used to it nor is our infrastructure (I'm Dutch, not very much snow here..)

Let's hope spring will arrive soon!
