Has anyone ever used a food dehydrator before?  We bought one but after doing more research I ended up returning it.  I have found one online that looks good but I am not sure if I am looking at the right things when making my decision.  This is the one I am thinking of getting so if anyone has any experience with dehydrator's let me know.

I don't have one but we bought a good friend one for christmas. He is big into Jerky.

I tried to find the exact model from the order but I can't locate it :( All I can find from the order is that it was a Nesco American Harvest Food Dehydrator. Not all that helpful. I do know that almost all of the Nesco ones get really great reviews.

Oh, and if you are planning to make jerky, the adjustable temperature is a must.

That is the one that I am looking at. It is the digital one. I am not buying with the intent of using it for jerky, just to dry some fruits for my son. I was having a hard time finding reviews on the Nesco and I am really interested in it.
