So, I've been here in Bloomington-Normal for two years now as of last week. It doesn't really seem like a long time has passed, and I've managed to pack a lot into it: working in new jobs, buying a new (to us) house, meeting new friends, exploring new neighborhoods, attending new local festivals, settling into a new SCA group, doing new jobs within

I just realized today that I've been in my condo for 4 years now. I had to look in my check register and count the number of dues payments I'd made.

It was definitely the right choice for me. I still love the space, the location and living without roommates. I got a little lonely living on my own in the first year, but since I adopted Nadia, my tumble-kitty, I come home to a fuzzy, loving and entertaining creature, who shares my home quite comfortably.

I'm glad you are settling into your home and are still finding places to explore.
