I can't say "I KNEW IT ALL ALONG", but it was one of my options...
Funny, I spent so much time speculating on the book, and a lot of things are like "Yes, just what I thought!"
Funny feeling, that.

And Snape for DADA is just brilliant. I love it!

Am I the only one who would give a great deal to know what form Tonks' Patronus previously took?

Grawp = die die die.

Awww, Tonks's patronus... It is not at all weak, thank you very much!

Well, I wondered how Snape would be able to, er, snape at Harry if Harry wasn't taking Potions... *is glum* Bother.

I knew it, I knew it, I KNEW IT!!! Snape for DADA, Slughorn for Potions. Damn Dumbledore, I so totally knew it.

Oh, Harry, my poor poor baby. This was the first chapter that made my stomach seize up with unhappiness, seeing Draco get the upper hand, and now Snape! Why do I have the feeling that DADA is going to be a "fiasco"?

I really wanted to see Dumbledore making Snape change his ways, but that obivously hasn't happened. Oh, Dumbly, just when I was getting to think you might not be so bad. Now you've gone and left Snape in charge of something important and I think it's all going to turn to shit. I really want to see Harry whup Snape's ass in DADA, but I don't hold out hope...

Grawp is the most useless plot device ever. Grawp is the Jar Jar Binks of HP. Die!

Ack!

Not necessarily. Harry did his most important DADA work without a teacher, as I think saying that his finding it within himself to teach is more important that anything that Quirrell taught him, and the most important lesson Remus imparted was the Patronus - out of class.

I don't think that Harry will be negatively impacted by having Snape as DADA, but I am rather curious as to how the position affects Snape.

But then, I'm a Snape redemptionist, and I'm still thinking he's going to end up on the right side in the end, however much he may be straddling the wall before he gets there.

Ditto! Although I don't think he'll end up on the right side solely due to his own doings and decisions. I forsee much of Dumbledore's twinkling and nudging in the right direction...

Congrats! I read that, and yelled "They got it write! Wow!"

My dad would think I'm strange, but he's the one who dyed his hair magenta one time, so he has no room to talk ;)

And at least Dumbledore will be teaching Harry, so he can stay caugth up if DADA's total crap.
