There is just too much even to mention. "In essence divided..." Lord Voldemort is almost TWO beings now...the 'immortal' Dark Lord, and the mortal shell of Tom Riddle. One person, but in essence divided...

This is so good I could die.

Interesting point about Frank and Nagini. Reading the beginning of GoF again, it's Nagini who tells Voldemort Frank's there, but Voldemort himself who AKs him. So I suppose Nagini was part of it, but you're right, Nagini didn't kill him right off (how would Dumbledore know Nagini had helped/been responsible anyway? -He wasn't there. And he's having huge amounts of trouble collecting other memories, how would he get that one?)

Hmm. Slughorn gives Harry a new memory to replace the tampered-with one. This means that when he removed and tampered with the memory, a copy still remained in his brain, which contradicts the way Pensieves appeared to work in OotP, when Snape was removing memories from his head so that Harry couldn't see them.

Yes, but I've never quite understood that. I mean, people don't seem to just forget the memories they put in the pensives, or they wouldn't remember what was in there, would they? I've been wondering about that all through this book. For example, if Dumbledore's memories are in the pensive, how does he know what happens in them that connects them to the others? Very confused on the pensive thing. . .

I'm thinking you have 2 options: copy/paste, or drag, to use a cheap computer simile.
Might have a delete option also. :p "send to recycle bin" LOL

Well, the Recycle Bin thing would have to be Obliviate, right? It even works the same way - if you Obliviate too much, you end up with an empty C: drive, like poor Lockhart did ^^

By the way, does your icon connect Nochnoy Dozor to Terry Pratchhett'S Night Watch, or is it simply a translation? ^^

Totally. I thought the Tea Series as well, what with the potion gift that he kept around without using for months.

It was nice seeing Jo's take on the How To Kill Voldie question. I've seen everything from "some helpful spell of Hermione's" to "pour water on him Wicked Witch of the West style", and it was nice finally getting a solid canon answer. I like this, too. It's not some stupid spell that anyone could drudge up, or something like that. The Dark Lord's not weak enough to keel over at one clever spell. He's more bad-ass than that. But this 'solution' satisfies me. . .

And who's the bloody Half-Blood Prince, already?

I know Jo's said it's not--but you would think it would be Tom, wouldn't you? I mean, the whole bloody book is centered around him...his story, his weaknesses, his immortality, and how to defeat him.
