Tom Riddle merely smiled as the others laughed again. Harry noticed that he was by no means the eldest of the group of boys, but that they all seemed to look to him as their leader.

Shades of Julius, jossed though he is.

It's amazing, as time goes by, just how like Lythril Tom Riddle is. Which to me says, obviously Harry is Theamh in that analogy, who is Istria? It could well be Draco, or it could be Severus, depending on, you know. Stuff.

And they couldn't kill the ogre, because his heart was in a box up a tree, and it kept beating.

But this particular box, this ogre has enchanted it to defend itself…

And there are six more.

I adore this book.

And it still irks me, goddammit, that it's called "Sorcerer's Stone" in these American editions. There is no such item. Philosopher's Stone. Real alchemical concept. *stabbity ( ... )

Woah, that was pretty intense shit. I'm not sure if I can quantify this, but I have a feeling that Dumbledore is a horcrux. No idea why, aside from perhaps ensuring that his (let's face it, inevitable) death is extra-happy-special meaningful. Bottom line, I think we can't take any of the horcruxes predicted here for granted... it seems too pat and easy for Dumbledore to have guessed all six of them like that, and I suspect we're in for a few surprises.

This chapter is wonderful! I cried at the end of it, when Dumbledore tells Harry that although he has suffered a lot he's still pure because he's able to love..oh ;_; sentimental!

Oooh, the plot is picking up now. It's getting to the point where one just wants to rush on to the next chapter right away.

Horcruxes! Neato. I think Harry is one. And what if the Half-Blood Prince made one too? That might be kind of interesting if taken with the whole Snape=HBP theory.
