To build upon theories...

All right. First I would like to admit that I am a bad reader, or so it seems. I am not often very good at reading into things behind the scenes. I don't like Snape, so I followed along with the "Snape is evil!" thing... until my friend so greatly pointed out that, hullo, there's a lot of evidence there that he's not evil.

I've been reading everybody's posts, and it's amazing how often people think Harry is a Horcrux. There is also a seemingly large amount of evidence that he's not. And lo, this is where my theory comes in.

Harry is not a Horcrux.

However, his scar is. When Voldemort tried to kill him (in order to split his soul to create a horcrux later), Lily's love protected Harry, and Voldemort's spell backfired (obviously). However, not only did the Avada Kedavra (spelling?) backfire, but his intention to use the murder of the threat to his life (according to the prophecy as he interpreted it) also backfired, and the intention alone perhaps split his soul, as he was already so twisted and evil (this being his 7th horcrux) and so far from human, and this accidentally split soul (or even a splinter of the intended split) went to Harry. (That was a long sentence, sorry.) Since, perhaps, it was unintended to work that way, or it was only a splinter of his horcrux, Harry didn't become the horcrux, but part of him did. The essence of Voldemort's soul changed him, hence the scar, and his many connections with Voldemort, and perhaps the OTHER horcruxes. After all, in book five Harry did "see" Nagini attack Mr. Weasly, and he already has all the other similarities to Voldemort.

Also, another thing: Didn't J. K. Rowling say, from the very beginning, that the last word of the last book was "scar" ?

On another note, a question. If Snape heard Trelawney's prophecy, why did Voldemort want it? Is it simply that Snape heard only part of it, as the books seem to obviously point out, or is it another plot twist of some sort?

That's all. =^n.n^=
