well, can't Tonks make the wolfsbane potion herself? I mean, she's an auror, so to be an auror, you have to have, what, an O or A on your Potions N.E.W.T.s? And Snape's been the potion master for the last 16 years, so that means that she had him for a teacher, and she's not a slytherin, so that means to manage that kind of score, she has to be a pretty good potion-maker, right?

As for Tonks brewing Wolfbane, from what I understand from Wolfbane, it is quite difficult to brew, and even though she may have got a O on her NEWT in Potions, does not mean she can brew it. If she could or if any Auror could, it would mean that Wolfbane would be readily available, and what I gathered from the books was it wasn't something that was commonly made. I would think that a potion of that caliber would take someone who brewed potions a lot, and I don't get the impression that Tonks does this. However, Snape is the perfect person to brew it -- however, he's now heading back to Voldy, so he's now out.

Having said that, it is possible that Tonks "could" do it. Or she could learn to do it. However, based on what I've drawn from canon, I don't think she does.

I hope the sequel takes off too. It'll be at least PG-13 though -- they go back to (I think) Tonks' flat. I've not had time to work on it, but I do hope it takes off.

And we will have a grand time this week. I can't wait!
