Well it's my birthday weekend so the chance to dress up and do silliness sounds like a plan to me.

I'll have to check that I'm not working that weekend though as we always have an openday then :'(

I'm definitely up for that, as you know. I think some information about the formation of the militias and their subsequent transition into the formal regiments would be useful, as well as the fact that legislation was passed to limit the extravagance of militia uniforms as these were tempting potential recruits away from the regular army... Also the sheets of canvas with the shot patterns from the blunderbuss and the swivel gun could be interesting.

Oh yes and given this ammount of warning we can have it all ready in good time.
I shall be buying a proper Lee lead pot then for the ammount of bullet casting i shall be doing in the near future.
Other good news is Andy Robinson knows our favourite Kent village: Goudhurst very well as he used to Fish close by. He wants the info on the battle, fingers crossed we can get him and Wookie to organise something down there.
Also deff getting the garden furniture to do the conversion on it for Ellesmere Port so we shall christen the HCGV tent in style sir.
