Have posted stuff on the theblackcompany site about a small local multi period bash.
It will involve hairy dark age people, the clanky medieval people of theblackcompany and hopefully some much needed civilisation and style from us

I've just seen this entry - I must have missed it the first time round. Anyway, it sounds like a damn good idea!

and i have to get in the bit about the local Rochdale man selling him self by the pound of body weight for service in the local Militia!

Well, that would be a way of getting rid a few of the more substantial re-enactors, wouldn't it? "I'm very sorry, but we just can't afford you..."

Oh god yes you can just imagine it, Sorry Mr allen but your just errrr way to expensive for us!!!!!
I would need to have the show in the scrap yard and use the industrial waggon scales to weigh some of the buggers!!

The mini multi period thingy has lots of potential and hopefully it may provide us with the odd recruit or two.
