i know exactly how you feel. my grandpa had alzheimers, and every time i saw him i couldn't help but cry. he'd just look at me like i was a complete stranger. some days were worse than others, but i remember the last thing he ever said to me. "thanks, carrie."

Fill my eyes
Oh Lithium Sunset
And take this lonesome burden
Of worry from my mind
Take this heartache
Of obsidian darkness
And fold my darkness
Into your yellow light
I've been scattered I've been shattered
I've been knocked out of the race
But I'll get better
I feel your light upon my face
Heal my soul
Oh Lithium Sunset
And I'll ride the turning world
Into another night
See mercury falling
Good song by the Police. It took me a while to find a song for you, so I hope it helps.
