i dont write here anymore but im still reading and i love your journal. That post was so inspiring for me because im back in the 120 i'm like...122-123!! i hate it... and i need to lose 10 pounds as well at least! so i think you're lucky to be 114!
Good luck with running, i do it too even if i'm still going to the gym. I dont want to do the same thing all the time so i go swimming, biking, roller blades, whatever i can do when the wheather is good!
Also if you dont want to spend too much money and do cardio get yourself a jumping rope. It's cheap and burns a lot of calories! Also climbing the stairs back and forth is a good training that cost nothing!
Anyway i'll be looking for your posts and i'll comment to support you because i know you can do it!! Good luck! xx

You're vegan right? What foods do you like to keep in tthe house??

Yes i'm vegan. I try to eat a lot of veggies and fruit.I cook a lot of tofu because it's easy and you can make it taste whatever you like so it's not always the same flavors. I also make all my desserts at home. I love smoothies, too : i mix fruits, soy milk and vegan protein powder ( vega ). I also love dried fruits and nuts but in moderation because they have a lot of calories, but i like them after a work out. I keep rice, kamut pastas and lentils at home too but when i cook them i always make a really small portions and then i add lot of veggies. I love eating out because there's a lot of amazing vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants where i live ( i'm in Montreal... ) but i dont do it too often!! when i want to indulge, i eat a dessert i made myself or i go out for soy ice cream!

I don't know if you're still on this site... but this is such a great, inspiring post... Really, left me quite silent. The switch to becoming healthy must've been a hard one, wasn't it?
I myself am a 'mixed' girl, black and white, and I'm struggling with my self- and body image. I'd love to, but I find it very hard to eat healthy... so you're quite the inspiration :) May I ask what your current weight is? And I'd live to see an (anonymous?) picture of you, since I'm really curious to your style ^^
Goodnight (it's 1 past midnight here x.x Just got back from the cinema)
xoxo
