So this is my second go around in my attempt to get all I could out of Romans at this point in my life. I read it the first time but was not sure how much I got out of it so I decided I would read it again and see what pops out at me and sticks with me. So here is a little insight to what I have learned from it ( Read more... )

7th point: "it is not just for certain people" sounds a lot like predestination...what about thinking "but not all people choose to accept this gift from God"?

also..."We are made right to God by our actions and our trust, not just our ability to obey the law."...by grace we are saved, we are saved by grace through faith...our actions or works are a response to love through faith.
Faith + Grace = Salvation and Love --> Acts of loving kindness

if that makes sense. I dunno if that is in Romans...but it is my understanding of that type of theology...coming from a faith-based tradition that preaches grace, and works.
