A/N: I noticed someone else had a similar take on this challenge, which only proves great minds think alike.:D
When the Dark Lord fell, and the world as he knew it ended, it rained. Giant, angry drops fell from the sky. Draco didn’t have much use for omens, prophecies and the like, but he knew this was a very bad sign.
So he walked. His shoulders slumped as he slogged through the mud, not knowing where he was going. Not caring. When the sun finally broke through the clouds and a cottage appeared, Draco wondered if it might be another sign, a good one for a change.
So he knocked on the door and let Harry pull him inside.
