During Harry's eleventh summer, he found out about Voldemort.
During his seventeenth, Harry killed him.
Harry was through with summer. He figured he was long overdue for something else monumental. Someone else.
Harry dug out a piece of parchment; old with frayed edges.
Malfoy, he wrote. He paused.
He threw it out.
He threw the rest of his insecurities out with it. He breathed.
Harry took out a new piece of parchment.
Dear Draco, he wrote, and this time was better.
He didn't know what to write. He did it anyway.
Summer was over.
Harry was ready for fall.
