Scenario: This could easily be a short one (or not). Draco is a Professor (Potions if you like). Harry takes over for an injured DADA prof and is introduced to the staff strip poker night. Previously, Professor Malfoy has only ever had to remove two pieces of clothing during a round of poker. Neville is usually the unlucky one, and everyone cheats to make sure Trelawney doesn't lose. Enter Professor Potter, and after a few rounds of shots of an unknown substance, he's down to his black silk pants and wizards hat. Draco thinks this is hilarious, until he gets on a losing streak. Harry becomes obsessed with the images of Draco dressed in a rose coloured chemise and frilly knickers. I think you can take it from here.

Scenario: Harry Potter's life is finally made. He has a loving wife, three healthy children and has just been made the youngest Head Auror in history. As he takes in the reins of his new job, however, he stumbles upon an antique file cabinet in his office. When asked, Kingsley tells him the exact same answer Moody gave him when he first got the job: it's the place to file the Untouchables, the cases of those who are guilty as sin but are too slippery to get caught. Over the next few months, Harry pays it no mind until one day he realizes that all the files he put in the cabinet have disappeared and all the Untouchable suspects keep mysteriously ending up dead. Never one to let anything go, Harry investigates and gets pulled into an underground world of paid mercenaries (Draco), seedy politics and a close and personal look at how a peacetime WW is really run.
I would love it if the circle of paid mercenaries were all former Slytherins/Junior Death Eaters: Goyle, Pansy (who specializes in poisons) and Zabini. The clues lead Harry back to Hogwarts where Draco, Pansy and Greg are carrying on their cover as professors.

Scenario: Harry and Draco each find out they are missing a credit (how that credit from whatever class went missing is up to the author/artist) and did not graduate properly from Hogwarts. As a result in order to keep their N.E.W.T.S./O.W.L. scores or their jobs or whatever situation Harry and Draco have to return to Hogwarts for one term to finish that missing credit and actually graduate. They don't have to live at Hogwarts, but maybe if they are living there in like guest suites (they're too old to be in the dormitories) that might give more fodder for the story. Neither knows the other is there until the first day of class. What ensues could be like reverting back to their 6th or 7th year with lots of bickering at the beginning then eventual friendship (perhaps they are forced to have detention together because their bickering got out of hand) with an opportunity to take things further either at Hogwarts or after the term is over.

Additions: an Invisibility cloak which is decidedly too small for two grown adults, the Marauders' Map, McGonagall's bagpipes (if you can fit it into the story. Sorry, I was just hard pressed to come up with the third item)
Scenario: At twelve, Albus and Scorpius (who weren't friends before but they can be in the same house) decided that they were gay. Moreover, they also decided that they are boyfriends. They hold hands publicly and smack kiddy-kisses on each others' mouths (and they are always very red and embarrassed afterwards, but look very happy). The girls in higher years think it is terribly cute, and most teachers decide to turn a blind eye over it, since there is no rule against such activities. One teacher doesn't think it is cute and calls in Harry and Draco to have a serious talk with their offspring. Harry and Draco of course have differing opinions about it - even if only for the sake of their long-standing feud. But they agree (after a long argument) to investigate further into the matter before they do anything.

Scenario: Al and Scorpius hate each other. No, they really do! Back in first year, Al was determined to be friendly to Scorpius - but Scorpius was unpleasant and rude to him. Relations between the two of them have only got worse throughout the years. Then their fathers drop the bombshell: they've fallen in love. Al and Scorpius decide, reluctantly, to call a truce - all in aid of splitting up their dads' relationship. But as they work together through devious and ridiculous plots, they realise that maybe it's not so bad that their dads are in love, and that maybe being brothers won't be such an awful thing after all. I'd really like the story from Al or Scorpius' POV, rather than from Harry or Draco's - and no AS/S romantic relationship please.

Scenario: Ginny and Harry have been married for 19 years…only not really. In fact, they never got married. All these years Harry has been living with Draco Malfoy who is using Polyjuice to look like Ginny Weasley (she decided she didn’t want quiet married life and made a deal with Draco who was in luv with Potter). All the kids are mutual (Pansy surrogate mother for Scorpius?) and know already. Draco decides to come clean, Harry freaks out while everyone else is very calm about the situation. They both go to Hogwarts to try to solve their problems as a family.
Optional: Start out with a disagreement between Ginny and Draco, who turn out to be Draco and Pansy. They argue about the nod (since when does Draco greet Potter?!) and Draco bemoans the bad Polyjuice that ruined his gorgeous hair.

Scenario: Stripped of wealth, name and prestige, Draco is infuriated with his lot in life. Now with his Father's life on the line (weeks away from execution) and no salvation in sight (Potter's limited generosity had run out after his and his mum's trial), he grows desperate once more. The knowledge that he was once upon a time the master of the most powerful wand in the world and didn't know it, had never touched it even, rankles greatly. Desperate to save his family once again and consumed by plots of revenge, Draco goes back to his childhood goal: Beat Harry Potter and finally become the master of the Elder wand.
In addition, Draco has been sentenced to become an injured Hagrid's assistant as part of his sentence for aiding and abetting Death Eaters. It ultimately works in his favor because Harry and the rest are back at Hogwarts helping with its restoration.

Scenario: Find some reason to de-age Harry after he's defeated Voldemort - perhaps something to do with the "baby" he's left crying at "King's Cross" or a thoughtlessly collected life-debt that has unforeseen consequences - whatever happens, this leaves Harry as a few months-old (or possibly one and a half-years old, if he becomes the age when he got the scar) baby. No Healer can find a way to reverse it, neither can Hermione. Ginny has hopes at the beginning, but she's young, no one really begrudges her when she decides to "leave" Harry. Especially as the Healers also determine that Harry wouldn't remember anything of his 'past' life. Ron vows to raise baby!Harry as his own son - actually, it is more of a co-operation between him and Molly - and so Harry becomes a real member of the Weasley family. As Harry grows up, his memories slowly return, but he doesn’t tell it to anyone because 1) he wasn’t told that he had been a victim of a spell and he thinks people would think him crazy; 2) these memories are very confusing and feel more like faint images from someone else's life rather than his own. When Harry goes to Hogwarts, Draco becomes his professor and takes a special interest in him - more fascination than because of revenge. Unnoticed, he becomes his mentor, and Harry slowly but surely develops a thing for him. As Harry grows and becomes both more convincing and more of his old self (with what Draco thinks of as uncanny flashes of knowledge of their mutual past), Draco finds it harder and harder to resist. Draco is either divorced by the time he accepts Harry as his lover or otherwise single. Harry can use devious seduction techniques like becoming Scorpius' mentor in his weak subjects. I would also prefer a pinch of darkness and a feeling of wrongness, because that's just what makes such great age differences work for me. Scenario: Daphne was Harry's training partner during Auror training and she is the only one who knows about this. It was her fault for accidentally casting some Dark Arts spell on Harry during a training duel that split his soul and Asteria Greengrass was created. Daphne quit Auror training and kept it a secret. She hid Asteria, making her parents acknowledge her as her sister… Years later, when Harry and Asteria's hands touch in a handshake as Asteria, Head of Slytherin, welcomes Harry as guest instructor of X subject, the spell reverses and they become one person again - to the horror of Ginny and Draco and their children.

The only way to get Draco to come to Hogwarts when Harry is around is to cause trouble or for Scorpius to pretend to get ill. They try and brew a love potion and make a big mistake. Scorpius and Albus both add the same ingredient, doubling its strength and creating an unexpected effect. They somehow get H/D alone and slip the potion into a drink or food. One of them, your choice, ends up pregnant. Happy Ending please! If you want to alter the scenario of how the potion ends up wrong that's okay by me. I would love for a baby girl to be the result. The new Head teacher (author's choice) has widened the 7th year curriculum to include a global dimension: the study of other wizarding cultures, along with a field trip abroad, which includes some Muggle travel.
H/D are the 2 Profs assigned to take a party of 7th year Gryffs and Slyths to a remote wizarding kingdom in an area of the world with bloody high mountains. Apparition into the kingdom is not possible, nor is magic until visitors have met with officials at the border and had their wands registered for the duration of their visit. A small plane is used to fly to the border, but overshoots it in foul weather and crash lands. Maybe some other atmospherical disturbance interferes with the plane's navigation system.
How will Harry, Draco and their mutually hostile charges survive in such a harsh landscape without magic or teamwork? Can have minor character death from crash or survival situation.

One night on the job Harry chases after a bad guy by himself and leaves Draco behind. When he returns he discovers Draco is injured and has been taken to St Mungo’s. They have a huge fight at the hospital. A few days later when Draco returns to work, it's to the news that Harry has quit and has disappeared. Draco of course thinks it's because of what happened, what he doesn't know is that when Harry ran off after the baddie he was hit with a mysterious spell and is dying. At least Harry thinks he's dying. He didn't really hear the spell as well as he could have, and his bookworm/research skills are not Hermione's. He's mistaken one spell for another, which displays similar symptoms, but the one he was hit with does not end in death. It ends in writer's choice (Veela, mpreg, etc. possibilities here let your imagination run wild) Harry finally returns and takes a temporary position at Hogwarts. He also begins to try to do the things he's always wanted to do, and get his affairs in order before he dies while dealing with the changes he is going through. Harry's friends are beside themselves to figure out what is wrong with Harry and enlist Draco to find out. Because Draco is one of the things he always wanted to do, but has no idea Draco feels the same way, he begins to let him in. Eventually it all comes to a head, the boys get together, the secret comes out, Hermione is thrown into full research mode, everything gets figured out and they all get a happy ending.

Scenario: Harry has fled to the Muggle world following the battle at Hogwarts, because he is being hounded by the press to the point that he cannot order a sandwich without his choice of corned beef making headlines, and then every sandwich shop offering "The Harry Potter Corned Beef Special" or some other such rot. He and Ginny have split up, because of the press crucifying her as not being worthy of the Savior's affection. Harry still sees his close friends via Floo, but he does not brave the Wizarding world, the paparazzi is THAT bad [his attempts to control the press totally backfired and just led to more publicity]. So Harry has this nice, quiet Muggle life, and he's figured out that he's gay, or at least bi. He has dated casually, but nothing serious.
THEN he gets a Floo-call from McGonagall. She's in desperate need for someone to teach at Hogwarts (some position that Harry would be perfect for, Quidditch, or Muggle Studies, or DADA, or whatever, you pick). For whatever reason, there literally is NO other person available to take the post. McGonagall lays on the emotional blackmail pretty thick, and pretty much coerces Harry to take the job, for one year to start with (he is pretty bored with his mundane Muggle job [your choice] anyway). His only condition: that no one knows that he is working at Hogwarts. He's going to Polyjuice/glamour/otherwise disguise himself as someone else (your choice). Once he gets to Hogwarts, he discovers that Draco Malfoy is also teaching there (your choice of position). Because he's in disguise, he can't let on how well he knows Malfoy, so he forces himself to be friendly. And he discovers that he really, genuinely likes Draco Malfoy, who has grown up quite a bit, though he's still a snarky, snooty bastard at times. They begin dating, but Harry quickly finds himself falling in love, and he suspects the feeling is mutual on Draco's part, which really makes the situation a moral dilemma. Either Harry ends up telling Draco who he is, or Draco figures it out on his own (you choose), and they have a huge fight over it, hexes thrown, hospital visit, etc. Eventually, after they've had some time to cool off, and after much talking/groveling on Harry's part and/or punishment from Draco/some suitable atonement of your choice, Harry and Draco agree to get back together, with the condition that Harry actually be himself when they're together, not his school professor alter-ego. Hot make up sex ensues. Your choice on how to wrap things up/tackle the press/make Harry go public/what happens after the year is over/etc.
This may have been too specific, so you don't have to adhere rigidly to it. But I hope you get the main idea. Bonus points for additional plot beyond Harry and Draco's developing relationship.

They don't have to live at Hogwarts, but maybe if they are living there in like guest suites (they're too old to be in the dormitories) that might give more fodder for the story. Neither knows the other is there until the first day of class. What ensues could be like reverting back to their 6th or 7th year with lots of bickering at the beginning then eventual friendship (perhaps they are forced to have detention together because their bickering got out of hand) with an opportunity to take things further either at Hogwarts or after the term is over.

As Harry grows up, his memories slowly return, but he doesn’t tell it to anyone because 1) he wasn’t told that he had been a victim of a spell and he thinks people would think him crazy; 2) these memories are very confusing and feel more like faint images from someone else's life rather than his own. When Harry goes to Hogwarts, Draco becomes his professor and takes a special interest in him - more fascination than because of revenge. Unnoticed, he becomes his mentor, and Harry slowly but surely develops a thing for him. As Harry grows and becomes both more convincing and more of his old self (with what Draco thinks of as uncanny flashes of knowledge of their mutual past), Draco finds it harder and harder to resist. Scorpius is friends with the Potter kids. Assign any houses you want to the kids. The kids know their fathers are lonely and decide that they should get together. The only way to get Draco to come to Hogwarts when Harry is around is to cause trouble or for Scorpius to pretend to get ill. They try and brew a love potion and make a big mistake. Scorpius and Albus both add the same ingredient, doubling its strength and creating an unexpected effect. They somehow get H/D alone and slip the potion into a drink or food. H/D are the 2 Profs assigned to take a party of 7th year Gryffs and Slyths to a remote wizarding kingdom in an area of the world with bloody high mountains. Apparition into the kingdom is not possible, nor is magic until visitors have met with officials at the border and had their wands registered for the duration of their visit. A small plane is used to fly to the border, but overshoots it in foul weather and crash lands. Maybe some other atmospherical disturbance interferes with the plane's navigation system.

They have a huge fight at the hospital. A few days later when Draco returns to work, it's to the news that Harry has quit and has disappeared. Draco of course thinks it's because of what happened, what he doesn't know is that when Harry ran off after the baddie he was hit with a mysterious spell and is dying. At least Harry thinks he's dying. He didn't really hear the spell as well as he could have, and his bookworm/research skills are not Hermione's. He's mistaken one spell for another, which displays similar symptoms, but the one he was hit with does not end in death. It ends in writer's choice (Veela, mpreg, etc. possibilities here let your imagination run wild) Harry finally returns and takes a temporary position at Hogwarts. He also begins to try to do the things he's always wanted to do, and get his affairs in order before he dies while dealing with the changes he is going through. Harry's friends are beside themselves to figure out what is wrong with Harry and enlist Draco to find out. Because Draco is one of the things he always wanted to do, but has no idea Draco feels the same way, he begins to let him in. Eventually it all comes to a head, the boys get together, the secret comes out, Hermione is thrown into full research mode, everything gets figured out and they all get a happy ending.

Scenario: Harry has fled to the Muggle world following the battle at Hogwarts, because he is being hounded by the press to the point that he cannot order a sandwich without his choice of corned beef making headlines, and then every sandwich shop offering "The Harry Potter Corned Beef Special" or some other such rot. He and Ginny have split up, because of the press crucifying her as not being worthy of the Savior's affection. Harry still sees his close friends via Floo, but he does not brave the Wizarding world, the paparazzi is THAT bad [his attempts to control the press totally backfired and just led to more publicity]. So Harry has this nice, quiet Muggle life, and he's figured out that he's gay, or at least bi. He has dated casually, but nothing serious.
THEN he gets a Floo-call from McGonagall. She's in desperate need for someone to teach at Hogwarts (some position that Harry would be perfect for, Quidditch, or Muggle Studies, or DADA, or whatever, you pick). For whatever reason, there literally is NO other person available to take the post. McGonagall lays on the emotional blackmail pretty thick, and pretty much coerces Harry to take the job, for one year to start with (he is pretty bored with his mundane Muggle job [your choice] anyway). His only condition: that no one knows that he is working at Hogwarts. He's going to Polyjuice/glamour/otherwise disguise himself as someone else (your choice). Once he gets to Hogwarts, he discovers that Draco Malfoy is also teaching there (your choice of position). Because he's in disguise, he can't let on how well he knows Malfoy, so he forces himself to be friendly. And he discovers that he really, genuinely likes Draco Malfoy, who has grown up quite a bit, though he's still a snarky, snooty bastard at times. They begin dating, but Harry quickly finds himself falling in love, and he suspects the feeling is mutual on Draco's part, which really makes the situation a moral dilemma. Either Harry ends up telling Draco who he is, or Draco figures it out on his own (you choose), and they have a huge fight over it, hexes thrown, hospital visit, etc. Eventually, after they've had some time to cool off, and after much talking/groveling on Harry's part and/or punishment from Draco/some suitable atonement of your choice, Harry and Draco agree to get back together, with the condition that Harry actually be himself when they're together, not his school professor alter-ego. Hot make up sex ensues. Your choice on how to wrap things up/tackle the press/make Harry go public/what happens after the year is over/etc.
This may have been too specific, so you don't have to adhere rigidly to it. But I hope you get the main idea. Bonus points for additional plot beyond Harry and Draco's developing relationship.
